Carney Chukwuemeka has been spotted training with the Chelsea squad for the first time since his move from Aston Villa.
The 18-year-old completed a deal to leave Steven Gerrard’s side, with him being scouted by some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
However, the youngster chose the Blues, becoming the latest young addition for the future of the club made this summer.

The club recently announced the signing of young American goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina, with him being scouted way before the new owners made their way to the club.
He is set to be loaned back to Chicago Fire for the remainder of the MLS season, with him expected to be back at the club in January.

Chukwuemeka on the other hand is reportedly seen by Thomas Tuchel as a member who could be involved with the first team immediately this season, with him spotted issuing the midfielder instructions on his first day at the club.
The midfield is an area where the club had not been particularly active in looking to strengthen in the early stages of the window, although the future of some of their established stars such as Jorginho are uncertain.
The club are now heavily considering a move to sign Frenkie de Jong, with the Dutchman being forced out of his club by Barcelona.

Manchester United have been extremely interested in a deal for the 25-year-old, with him being the player their transfer window has relied upon since it began.
However, he is insistent that he doesn’t want to join the Red Devils, with them unable to offer him the ability to play in the Champions League this season.
This could see the Blues make a move, with the Catalan club hopeful that De Jong will be more willing to make the switch to Stamford Bridge.
