Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has now taken to social media to respond to claims that he is unhappy at Chelsea right now.

He broke his silence following a tough night at the Emirates on Instagram.

The striker joined the club last summer, however has spent the majority of the season riding the bench after not being in favour with former coach Graham Potter.

Aubameyang was undoubtedly signed with manager at the time, Thomas Tuchel, in mind due to their previous working relationship.

However, one game into his career in West London the German had been sacked, which was perhaps a sign of his things were set to go.

Despite minutes drying up completely in recent months, he has still been thrown in to start both Premier League games against Arsenal, the club he used to play for in England.

Neither game has brought any success, with Chelsea outclassed in both despite the scoreline not always suggesting that.

Before the game on Tuesday, the cameras caught the striker looking on as he soaked in the atmosphere of the Emirates.

This led to a social media user creating a post of sympathy for Aubameyang, listing off some of the tough scenarios he has been through in recent years.

On an Instagram post by rahjthefootballaddicts, the Chelsea man took to the comments to break his silence for the first time since that dismal outing.

He said: “You know sometimes people forget what’s the real life and forget about how you can’t control what’s gonna happen.”

It is widely expected that Aubameyang will be on the move at the end of the season, with the club looking to enter a new era with a new manager at the helm.

The Blues will reportedly definitely be in the market for a striker in the summer, although may look to returning loanee Romelu Lukaku for his firepower.
