Brighton manager Roberto de Zerbi has claimed that there is definitely a chance that Moises Caicedo leaves his club this summer.
He claimed in his pre-match press conference via Fabrizio Romano that tonight’s match against Manchester City could be his last home game for the club.
Chelsea have not been coy in recent interest regarding Caicedo. They made it very publicly known that they wanted to sign him in January.

They even had a bid rejected for his services midway through the window, before they settled on signing Enzo Fernandez for a club record fee.
The Argentine has impressed greatly within the constraints of a dire club season. However, it has been accepted that the club do need to sign someone whose skills compliment his own.
Yesterday it was claimed that the Ecuadorian was now Chelsea’s number one priority for a midfielder this summer, with a potential deal likely to cost them around £70m.
Caicedo could leave this summer
Now, De Zerbi has admitted he isn’t certain whether it will be both his and teammate Alexis Mac Allister’s final home games for the Seagulls.
He said: “City could be their last home game, but I don’t know. They have the possibility to move because they deserve to play in another level”.
The World Cup winner has been another player linked with a move to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

However, it seems as if Liverpool have put themselves in pole position for that deal after recently seeming to miss out on the signing of Jude Bellingham.
Caicedo looks as if he offers all the skills required to be a Chelsea player for some time, and able to form a sensational partnership with Fernandez.
The duo would certainly be a great starting block for prospective manager Mauricio Pochettino to work with.
