Catalina Kim has been immersing herself in the social media world by answering questions from Chelsea fans amidst her potential takeover plans.

Kim only booted up her Twitter account on Monday, but got straight to work responding to as many queries and questions from fans as possible.

She managed to sweeten a large section of Stamford Bridge by revealing Tottenham Hotspur was not her team of choice.

The 38-year-old also expressed her love for Thomas Tuchel, another big green tick in the check list.

Although, whilst the CEO of C&P Sports, one of the groups financial backing Nick Candy’s bid to buy the Blues, has opened up to most things thrown at her, there is always a line to be drawn.

Yesterday, one user asked what Kim had in mind for the ‘deadwood’ in Tuchel’s squad, including Marcos Alonso, Ross Barkley and Malang Sarr.

Are Chelsea able to sell players?

Once a new owner takes Roman Abramovich’s place, transfer activity can commence again.

Meaning fresh faces can walk through the corridors of Cobham, not to mention clearing out a few spaces in the dressing room.

There are several players whose future remains up for debate, most noticeably those with expiring contracts.

But for the likes of Alonso and Sarr, not guaranteed starters when the whole team is available, might also be pushed towards the exit door.

Barkley outranks pretty much any of the senior stars for being separated from the side, having only started four games all season.

It would not be a surprise to see the midfielder pack his bags at the end of the campaign.

However, when the subject of departures was put to Kim, she remained democratic.

Of course, even if she wanted to axe Barkley and co, committing to such actions would be foolish until Abramovich’s successor is announced.

Candy’s consortium wait with bated breath to discover if they’d made the final candidates selected by the Raine Group.

Any day now…
