Reece James not selected for England duty
Felix was angry that he was not subbed on at any point during the game, with him surely expecting to feature in the face of worries over Cole Palmer’s fitness going into the match.
James is one of the players who will not be jetting off for international duty this week, allowing him another two weeks without a match to regain his fitness.
There is no doubting his quality when he is fit and firing. Opposition winger Jeremy Doku previously described James as ‘quality’.
Chelsea fans are hoping he can reach the point where he can start in the far more attacking of the two full-back roles, occupied by Malo Gusto at the weekend.
