Ray Parlour predicts Chelsea could still try to sign Tottenham’s Harry Kane during the summer transfer window.
Harry Kane, who’s scored 280 goals in 435 Spurs appearances, is one of the most proven strikers in the world right now.
However, the 29-year-old’s constantly tormented by the fact he’s yet to win a piece of silverware in his career. It’s truly remarkable that a player of his calibre is yet to win a trophy.
It feels like he’s linked with a move away from Spurs in every transfer window, so will this summer finally be the occasion he moves?

Parlour has guessed that Chelsea could make a move for the Spurs attacker in the next couple of months.
He’s cited his relationship with Blues head coach Mauricio Pochettino as a possible factor, with the duo working extremely well together at Spurs in the past.
“We know that Harry wants to win trophies and he’s is in a period of his career where he needs to start lifting trophies. A footballer’s career isn’t about money. When he hangs up his boots, he will want to look back at the titles,” Parlour told JBI Training.
“Harry will be thinking that he needs to win something. The dilemma that he has is that he will probably be thinking about beating Alan Shearer’s Premier League goalscoring record. Perhaps he could go to Bayern Munich for a few years and then come back and have a crack at Shearer’s record.
“I could see Chelsea coming in for him. We know that Pochettino has a wonderful relationship with Harry Kane. The ball is Tottenham’s court if he decides that he doesn’t want to sign a new contract with the club. I also think there is a possibility that he could see this last year out and then move on a free transfer to a Premier League club in 2024.”

Described as “world class” by Luke Shaw (The Telegraph), Kane is definitely the type of goal machine that would reform the Chelsea attack.
We’ve got serious doubt that the Spurs star would hop across London to join us, though.
TalkSPORT reported back in May that Pochettino would love Chelsea to sign Kane this summer so he can form a reunion with him at Samford Bridge.
However, we’ve not heard any transfer speculation recently to suggest any interest has intensified.
Instead, journalist Dean Jones told GiveMeSport this week that Chelsea are set to make a fresh move for Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic in the coming days.
