Fabrizio Romano has stated that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has now reached an agreement on bringing his time at Chelsea to an end.
He took to Twitter to claim that the striker has agreed terms with Marseille ahead of potentially moving on this summer.
It has been widely expected that Aubameyang’s time at Stamford Bridge would only last a season, and it will certainly not go down as a memorable one.

After being brought in off the back of a request of former manager Thomas Tuchel, the striker played one game before the German was sacked.
Despite scoring a pair of important goals in the Champions League during Graham Potter’s tenure with the club, his opportunities quickly became limited, while his activity off the pitch soon became an issue.
He turned up to his former side, Barcelona, to celebrate a big win for them less than 24 hours after the Blues were held to a 2-2 draw with Everton.
Aubameyang close to leaving Chelsea
It appears Mauricio Pochettino has been keen to keep his kind of attitude away from the club as they prepare for the upcoming season.
Reports have already stated that the manager has forced the £170k-a-week man alongside a few other outcasts to train away from the main group, and he did not travel yesterday to the United States.
Now, Romano has claimed he is closing in on a move to Ligue 1.

He said: “Olympique Marseille and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang have reached agreement on three-year contract — until 2026.
“Aubameyang, open to join OM — that’s why Marseille are optimistic, confident to get it done. Negotiations with Chelsea, not expected to be complicated.”
Finding a solution that sees Aubameyang leave the club is likely to be a necessity for the club this summer.
