Christian Pulisic is no longer a Chelsea player after leaving the club yesterday to join AC Milan.

Christian Pulisic, 24, decided to leave Stamford Bridge during this summer transfer window, something which seems a common theme right now.

Unfortunately, the American forward’s time at Chelsea had been going rapidly downhill. The winger scored just one goal in 30 Blues appearances last season across all competitions, which is crazy for someone with his potential and quality.

He’s now got the chance for a fresh start in Milan to recapture his best form.

Reece James and Raheem Sterling, who are now emerging as two of the senior faces in the current Chelsea squad, both reacted on social media to Pulisic’s transfer exit.

Pulisic uploaded a goodbye message on Instagram to the Chelsea family.

Blues defender James showed his sadness in the comment section with a crying emoji and a blue heart.

Meanwhile, Raheem Sterling wished Pulisic good luck on his new venture.

We can only wish Pulisic the best with the next part of his football career.

If he can get anywhere near his best, Milan will reflect on the £20million (BBC) they paid for him as a great deal.

Chelsea fans are now slowly getting a better idea of what Mauricio Pochettino’s squad may look like next season, with so many first teamers going through the exit doors at Stamford Bridge.

We feel we’re now two or three top-quality signings away from looking in a great place.

Football London recently claimed that Chelsea are moving for Lyon playmaker Rayan Cherki as the immediate replacement for Pulisic in the squad.
