Luis Enrique could be in the dugout for Chelsea when they face Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final next week, according to reports in Spain.
Reports claimed that the former Spain and Barcelona manager travelled to London on Wednesday for a meeting with Chelse over the vacant managerial position following Graham Potter’s sacking on Sunday.
As things stand, Bruno Saltor is in charge of the team as an interim head coach, but Chelsea would understandably want to find a permanent manager ahead of the big Champions League clashes with Real Madrid.
According to Marca, Enrique, who went to London with his agent Ivan de la Pena, could lead the Chelsea players for the first leg.

The Chelsea board, including co-owner Todd Boehly, has reportedly yet to make a final decision, but the club would be able to make it happen.
Enrique, however, is not the only candidate manager Chelsea are talking to.
Former Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann was said to be the favourite candidate, while the likes of Mauricio Pochettino and Ruben Amorim are also on the shortlist.
The four-and-a-half years Enrique spent with the Spain national team arguably puts him in an unfavourable spot compared to the others.
There are significant differences between managing a club and a national team, and Enrique left his last club, Barcelona, in 2017.
That said, in terms of trophies, he is well ahead of the competition.
He has already won the Champions League and is a two-time La Liga-winning manager, although it is worth mentioning that having the players he had at Barcelona, including Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Luis Suarez, arguably made it a lot easier.
