Reports have claimed that Chelsea are now considering handing the manager job to Juventus’ Massimiliano Allegri.
According to TalkSPORT, the 55-year-old is one of the candidates who is admired particularly by owner Todd Boehly.
Discussions are well underway at Stamford Bridge over who will become the third permanent manager at the club this season.

Graham Potter was headhunted by the American as the perfect man to lead their project following the sacking of Thomas Tuchel.
This has obviously not worked out. Defeat to Aston Villa last weekend was too much for even Boehly to continue to defend, as Chelsea dropped into the bottom half of the table.
This has now seen plenty of candidates linked to the role, with some of Europe’s best both in and out of a job.
Allegri considered for Chelsea job
The timing of Julian Nagelsmann’s sacking at Bayern has made him an obvious favourite for the job. However, it has been widely expected that he would ideally like to wait until the summer before returning to management.
This could open the door to a number of other potential suitors, with a lot of figures at Chelsea likely having their own opinion on who is the perfect candidate.
Boehly is reportedly a fan of Allegri at Juventus, who has previously been courted for the job on numerous occasions.

Before returning to Serie A for his latest job, he reportedly turned down the Chelsea job, which was eventually taken by Frank Lampard.
Another figure who is reportedly one of the main candidates for the job is Luis Enrique. The Spaniard has today travelled to London to engage in talks with the club after originally impressing them with his vision.
The job is set to be a big one for whoever gets it, with last night’s dismal draw showing the magnitude of the task at hand.
