Chelsea youngster Levi Colwill could be in line for an England senior call-up this year, according to reports.
Levi Colwill, who’s just 20, is a young defender to come through the academy at Cobham.
The centre-back is currently enjoying a season-long loan at Premier League rivals Brighton, which follows a loan with Huddersfield Town in the Championship last year.
He’s putting in some eye-catching performances at Brighton. For instance, Alan Shearer claimed back in January that Colwill didn’t put a foot wrong against Liverpool.

The Daily Mail claims that “there is every chance” Colwill gets his first call-up to the England senior squad in 2023.
It is understood that Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate recognises he needs to refresh his options in the centre-half position.
The report says that Southgate, along with his assistant Steve Holland, admires Colwill.
He’s currently part of England’s Under-21s camp during the current international break. Hopefully, it’s his last one before joining the seniors.

The noise around Colwill is beginning to grow, but those who follow Chelsea closely will know he’s been highly tipped for a while now.
GOAL recently claimed that Liverpool are interested in signing Colwill.
Thankfully, The Telegraph say Chelsea boss Graham Potter has Colwill in his first-team plans for next season.
Colwill’s biggest challenge moving forward will be dealing with all the pressure on him.
He looks extremely calm and accomplished on a football pitch, but expectations on him are already beginning to rise.
An England international receives a whole new kind of pressure, too.
