Inter Milan are eyeing Chelsea-linked Mauricio Pochettino as a possible replacement for their current manager, Simone Inzaghi, according to reports in Italy.
The Italian club have already made the decision to part ways with Inzaghi at the end of the season, Tuttosport claims, which is quite a surprise given he has led them to the Champions League semifinal.
Inter, however, are looking at several top manager candidates to justify their decision.
According to Tuttosport, former Paris Saint-Germain boss Pochettino, who has been linked with the Chelsea job, is at the top of Inter’s shortlist.

The Argentine reportedly has already given his word to Chelsea, so a move to Inter is understood to be unlikely at this point.
Some Chelsea fans, however, might have concerns about the possibility of Pochettino’s changing his mind because of the dire situation the club is in at the moment.
Chelsea remain an attractive destination for managers, but it is safe to say whoever takes over from Frank Lampard will be in for an uphill battle.
To put it into perspective, Chelsea are not even mathematically safe from relegation yet.
They are also the lowest-scoring team in the Premier League in 2023, which is not something anyone would expect with the talent they have at their disposal.
The latest reports suggested that Pochettino and Chelsea remain in the final phase of negotiations over the terms of the contract, but the sooner the appointment becomes official, the sooner the club can begin the preparation for the next season.
