Reports have claimed that Barcelona manager Xavi would welcome the signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Chelsea this summer.
According to GOAL, the former midfielder would be extremely keen on reuniting with the striker after an impressive stint at the Nou Camp.
The striker has all-but burned his bridges with the Premier League side after turning up at the Catalan side’s stadium to celebrate victory against Real Madrid with his former teammates.

This came just 24 hours after the Blues were held to a 2-2 draw by relegation-threatened Everton, despite goals from Joao Felix and Kai Havertz.
The situation certainly didn’t go down too well with the club, with reports claiming that they are now willing to terminate the former Arsenal attacker’s contract early following his antics in Spain.
The decision would put an end to what has been a dire spell back in England. Aubameyang currently only has three goals for the club, with only one of them coming in the Premier League.
It perhaps looked doomed from the start when Thomas Tuchel, who the £10m signing looked tailor-made for, was sacked just one game into his Chelsea career.
Chelsea’s pain may well be Barcelona’s gain however, as it has been reported that Xavi would be delighted to welcome him back into the La Liga side’s setup.

They currently sit 12 points clear at the top of the table in Spain, with European football out of the picture following their exit from both European competitions.
Their closest rivals for the title are Madrid, who will surely now have more focus on the upcoming Champions League tie against Chelsea next month.
As for the Aubameyang deal, the club would do best to do whatever they can to get rid of the striker as soon as possible, with him bringing more harm than good with him this season.
