Mauricio Pochettino wants Chelsea attacker Mykhailo Mudryk to become a louder presence at Stamford Bridge.
That is according to a report from journalist Ben Jacobs.
Mauricio Pochettino, who’s now into his second week as the Chelsea head coach, has already mapped out a plan for Mykhailo Mudryk during pre-season.
Mudryk has had a busy summer after playing for Ukraine at the Under-21s European Championship, which is a decision that impressed Pochettino (The Telegraph).
Now, the 22-year-old will get to work with the Chelsea squad for pre-season, which really kicks into gear when they travel to the United States for five friendly matches.

Reporting on Simon Phillips’ Substack, Jacobs claimed that Pochettino is “keen” to work one-on-one with Mudryk to help motivate him.
It is understood that part of the focus will be on helping the left-winger be more vocal and culture-orientated.
We feel like the youngster is already a big presence within the Ukraine national fold, but he’s still very much a small fish in a big pond when it comes to settling at Stamford Bridge.
It’s been a difficult first six months for Mudryk in England with zero goals in his opening 17 Blues appearances, but there should be real excitement about the new season ahead under a new manager.
It would be great for more leaders and louder presences to emerge from the Chelsea squad next season.

Let’s remember Mudryk is still only aged 22.
The speedster has a lot of eyes on him because his transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk could end up costing £89million (BBC).
Once he’s fully settled off the pitch, we’re confident we can start seeing the best version of him on it.
Pochettino has arrived at Chelsea with the reputation of being a great man-manager, so someone like Mudryk is an individual that could come on leaps and bounders under him.
Stan Collymore previously told CaughtOffside he thinks that Mudryk is destined to do really well under Pochettino next season.
