Reports have claimed that Todd Boehly will offer Mason Mount a new contract at Chelsea after the World Cup.
According to 90min, the two parties are not far apart in their demands, with the American having made it a priority to tie him down to a new deal at the club.
It was reported that one of the priorities for the new owners was to secure the futures of Mount and teammate Reece James to long-term deals.
This was quite comfortably achieved as far as the 22-year-old was concerned, with him signing a new long-term deal earlier this season.

Despite that, 90min have suggested that there are not any issues between the two camps, with Boehly ready to continue discussions after Mount is done at the World Cup.
