Tottenham Hotspur are now reportedly trying to stop Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino from signing Nicolas Jackson.
According to The Sun on Sunday (18/6; page 62), Tottenham Hotspur could make a late move for Villarreal striker Nicolas Jackson, a player former Spurs head coach Mauricio Pochettino wants at Chelsea.
The report in the British tabloid has noted the 21-year-old striker has a £34 million release clause in his contract at Villarreal, and that Pochettino wants Chelsea to pay that.
The Guardian reported this week that Jackson has already agreed personal terms with Chelsea.
However, The Sun on Sunday (18/6; page 62) has claimed that Tottenham are now considering a bid for the young striker and plan to stop him from moving to Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
Chelsea need not worry about Tottenham Hotspur regarding Nicolas Jackson
In our opinion, there is no need for Chelsea to worry about a potential bid from Tottenham Hotspur for Nicolas Jackson.

If the striker has already agreed personal terms with Chelsea, then the Blues should not worry too much about Spurs trying to convince him to move to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Chelsea are one of the biggest clubs in the world and are a global brand, and under Pochettino, they will, certainly get back to challenge for the Premier League title and competing in the UEFA Champions League.
We believe that the 21-year-old striker would pick Chelsea over Tottenham.
