Reports have claimed that Tottenham striker Harry Kane would be very keen to work with Mauricio Pochettino again.

According to the Daily Mail, the arrival of the Argentine at Chelsea would be extremely tempting for the Englishman if he looks to leave Tottenham this summer.

Kane has been strongly linked with a move away from North London this summer, after what is going to be another dire season for them domestically.

One of Chelsea’s biggest rivals are set to go another year without adding a trophy to their cabinet, meaning one will continue to elude the England captain.

With a player of his ‘world-class’ quality, it will go down as a huge travesty if he doesn’t win any silverware in his career.

A striker is high on the agenda at Stamford Bridge after another campaign where goals have been extremely hard to come by.

Kane wants reunion with Pochettino

It has now been claimed that they may have an unprecedented opportunity to sign Kane, if they continue with the likely outcome of hiring Pochettino as their new manager.

The Argentine has emerged as the top candidate to take the vacant permanent job as a replacement for Graham Potter.

Frank Lampard is currently at the club on a temporary basis, however five consecutive defeats to start his tenure will have not given Todd Boehly any headaches over potentially keeping him.

After a number of potential options for the job were linked, the likes of Julian Nagelsmann fell by the wayside during the ongoing and lengthy recruitment process.

If Pochettino is able to convince Kane to make the unprecedented switch to West London this summer, he would only be even more convincing to supporters that he is the right man to lead Chelsea into the future.
