If there is one position Chelsea are most likely to strengthen in the final few days of the transfer window, it is the striker role.
Despite scoring six goals away at Wolves on Sunday, it seems as if there is still an appetite to bring more firepower up top.
Victor Osimhen has been a name that has been strongly linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge, however it feels as if that deal will have to be done on their terms which is why no breakthrough has been made yet.

It seems as if he is not their only target though, with them also looking closer to home for a potential addition.
It looks as if the Blues are still interested in signing Ivan Toney, who is currently the subject of major interest from Saudi Arabia.

Chelsea make move to sign Ivan Toney
However, Sky journalist Kaveh Solhekol has stated that Chelsea have now made their move to make him surely their final signing of the summer.
He said: “Chelsea have made a move to sign Ivan Toney from Brentford. They want a proven goalscorer to be their new No. 9. He will fit into their wage structure and transfer fee will be reasonable. Toney has incredible offer from Saudi but Chelsea can offer Premier League football.”
Toney has proven over a number of seasons now that he is more than capable of finding the net in the Premier League.
Competition for Nicolas Jackson
He would likely be coming in as competition for Nicolas Jackson, who opened his account for the season at the weekend at Molineux.
The Senegal international has enjoyed a strong start to life in England, however there is no doubt that Toney would be a player who perfectly suits the football being played under Enzo Maresca.
He was described this summer as ‘special’ by Declan Rice, as he began to make an impact for England at the European Championships.
It remains to be seen though if Chelsea can convince him to turn down a lifechanging amount of money on offer in Saudi Arabia.
