Clinton Morrison fears that this could be the final opportunity at the top for one Chelsea star.
Chelsea signed both Jadon Sancho and Joao Felix over the summer, two players who failed to live up to expectations at their previous clubs.
Manchester United and Atletico Madrid spent huge money on Sancho and Felix respectively. However, it did not quite work out for either player at their former teams.
The two attackers are now at Chelsea, looking to get back to their best again. Sancho looks to already be there after his display against Bournemouth.
The winger came on against the Cherries on Saturday night, setting up Christopher Nkunku’s winning goal. Afterwards, Sancho was thanked by Nkunku on Instagram for his assist.

Clinton Morrison’s warning for Jadon Sancho
Having struggled at another top Premier League club United, Morrison has suggested that Chelsea are Sancho’s last chance.
Discussing the England international on Sky Sports (14/09/2024 at 12:15), the former Crystal Palace forward said: “I think it is his last chance, I do, but he has got to be given the chances. As any attacking player, you can’t play one game and then come out and sit out for two games.”
Sancho joined Chelsea on loan during the summer, but even if he does not perform this season, the Blues will still be signing him permanently next year.
According to BBC Sport, there is an obligation for Chelsea to buy Sancho in a deal that could cost up to £25m.
Chelsea fans were moved by Sancho’s debut. More performances like the one on Saturday, and they will welcome him staying at the club.
Is this really Jadon Sancho’s final chance?
Failure at Chelsea is certainly not going to help his career, but Sancho is still only 24. If things do not go to plan in west London, he will still have time to turn things around.
It has only been one game so far, but the signs at Chelsea are looking good. The former Borussia Dortmund man made a real impact against Bournemouth and Enzo Maresca seems to trust him.
The Italian has spoken so positively about Sancho since his arrival at the club. “He is here because we like that kind of player,” Maresca said after Chelsea’s draw with Crystal Palace just before the international break.
