Jason Cundy is convinced there’s something in Chelsea’s Armando Broja, despite him still being a “raw talent”.
Armando Broja, who’s only 22, is recently back from a long-term injury layout with a knee problem.
The Chelsea striker played in four games before the October international break, including in back-to-back Premier League matches against Fulham and Burnley. Incidentally, he scored his second senior goal for the club in the Fulham victory.
It’s no real surprise he’s still yet to complete a full 90 minutes after being sidelined for over nine months.

TalkSPORT pundit and Chelsea fan Jason Cundy delivered his verdict on Broja last night.
He thinks that the youngster’s return gives Blues head coach Mauricio Pochettino a different kind of option at the top end of the pitch.
We’ve enjoyed summer signing Nicolas Jackson leading the line as Chelsea’s frontline centre-forward in the opening weeks of the season, but there’s now fresh competition in the No 9 position with Broja added into the mix.
“Broja’s come back. He’s a bit of a raw talent. He gives you a different proposition. There’s something in there, I don’t know how good yet. He’s quick. He’s a different proposition to [Nicolas] Jackson,” Cundy told talkSPORT (11:24pm, 18 October).

We’re thinking Broja edges Jackson in terms of pace and power, but the latter has been getting into some fantastic positions in the penalty box since arriving at Stamford Bridge.
It’s difficult to know who will emerge as the first-choice striker in the weeks ahead. We expect Pochettino to give a fair shot to both players, but our guess is Jackson will get the edge to start for this Saturday’s Premier League fixture at home to Arsenal.
Blues centre-back Levi Colwill recently described Broja and Jackson as two “great strikers”, as quoted by Chelsea’s official website.
It’s worth remembering that Broja is a super talent from the club’s academy, who was beginning to emerge in the first team last season before his crushing injury setback.
This is a player that most neutrals will have completely forgotten because of his absence, but he’s got so many traits you want in a modern day frontman.
