Estevao Willian has missed Chelsea’s last two games, including their FA Cup semi-final win against Leeds United.
The winger picked up a hamstring injury in the Blues’ 1-0 loss to Manchester United, which allowed Alejandro Garnacho to come into the side at Wembley.
Garnacho started on the left, while Pedro Neto was utilised on the opposite flank. It is a combo that Chelsea supporters could see for the rest of the season, with Estevao not expected to be back before then.

Estevao Willian injury ‘isn’t so complicated’
The good news for Estevao is that he could still return in time for the World Cup in the summer.
A source close to the player recently told The Sun that Estevao’s injury “isn’t so complicated” and they hope his recovery happens quickly.
The 19-year-old always feared the worst after he felt his hamstring go during Chelsea’s defeat to United earlier this month.

In the dressing room at half-time, Estevao was crying, clearly fearing that his World Cup dreams could be over.
At 19, though, the Brazilian could still play at three World Cups before he retires. Nevertheless, there will still be a lot of disappointment if Estevao does not feature at this year’s tournament.
The Chelsea star was Brazil’s best player in the last calendar year, so Carlo Ancelotti will want him on the plane.
Estevao Willian’s final stats for 2025/26 season
Chelsea interim boss Calum McFarlane has confirmed that Estevao will miss the remainder of the season.
It means that the former Palmeiras player has finished his first full campaign in England with eight goals and four assists in 36 appearances. It is not bad for a teenager playing in the country for the first time.
In the Premier League, Estevao scored two goals in 22 outings. You would have liked to have seen a player of his talent score more times, especially when he had an xG of 3.56, as per WhoScored.
However, the Brazil international did only make 12 starts. Now that Estevao has settled in England, if that number goes up next season, you would expect his goal tally to also improve.
