Sources close to Benoit Badiashile believe that the Chelsea defender is ready to play against Arsenal tomorrow.
That is according to journalist Bobby Vincent.
Chelsea host rivals Arsenal on Saturday evening in a Premier League fixture at Stamford Bridge.
Will Benoit Badiashile be in a matchday squad for the first time this season, though?

Benoit Badiashile return is imminent
Badiashile’s watched from the sidelines in the opening two months of this season due to injury, but it sounds like he’s nearly ready for his comeback.
The 22-year-old defender uploaded a post on Instagram earlier this week. It showed the image of Badiashile back in training at Cobham.
Now, there’s fresh claims that the £35million (Sky Sports) centre-back could be available this weekend at home to Arsenal.
Journalist Bobby Vincent has shared that Badiashile’s trained all week. There’s people close to the Frenchman who think he’s ready to feature, too.
He wrote on X: “Benoit Badiashile has been involved in full Chelsea training this week. Sources close to the defender believe he is ready for tomorrow’s game. Whether he is chosen in the matchday squad is another question, but a huge boost for the Blues nonetheless.”

Chelsea strength at CB
We’ve seen Thiago Silva and Axel Disasi impress as Chelsea’s first-choice centre-back partnership so far this season. However, Blues head coach Mauricio Pochettino may soon have a selection headache when it comes to the heart of defence.
Badiashile proved his quality as a young centre-half in the second half of last season. Therefore, he should have big confidence that he can break back into the starting XI, albeit under a different manager this time around.
It’s worth adding that Levi Colwill, who’s currently impressing at left-back, is a centre-back by trade with so much potential.
Wesley Fofana’s in the stands as he recovers from a long-term injury problem, too!
We would be really tempted to see what a Badiashile-Colwill combination looks like in the heart of Chelsea’s defence, but it may be foolish to change a partnership right now which looks pretty assured.
