Some of the most promising players Chelsea have at their disposal for the future are not actually even with the club.

Many of them remain with the teams they signed them from, getting more experience of first team minutes before linking up with the Blues.

The most high-profile example of this is Estevao Willian, who Chelsea are very excited to join them.

Estevao will join up with the first team next summer, as well as fellow promising loanee Kendry Paez, who is already a regular Ecuador international.

While it is so far unknown exactly when Aaron Anselmino will make the jump to Stamford Bridge, there is still a lot of hope that he can be a key player in the future.

Chelsea youngster Aaron Anselmino scores big goal for Boca Juniors

Featuring regularly for Boca Juniors already, the centre-back has shown a lot of ability at the age of just 19.

Some of his future club and national team colleagues have already noticed this too. Enzo Fernandez has already been in touch with Anselmino after his move to West London was confirmed.

The youngster was described as ‘special’ as per analyst Ben Mattinson to GiveMeSport.

He has just had yet another big moment for his current club, scoring a header from close range early on in their Argentinian cup win over Gimnasa.

Potential Chelsea defence with Anselmino

Chelsea are not short on young defenders who are already showing they can reach high levels in the game.

Perhaps the standout of those is Levi Colwill, who has been tipped to become a future Chelsea captain.

The Argentinian frequently lines up on the right of a back two, which would compliment the England international’s game perfectly.

This would mean displacing Wesley Fofana from the side, with Enzo Maresca seeming to take a liking to him now he has returned to full fitness.

The likes of Benoit Badiashile and Tosin Adarabioyo will be looking to keep their names in the hat too, with the latter only joining the club this summer.
