Chelsea supporters on social media were signing to the tune of Armando Broja following his goal-scoring showing for Southampton yesterday.
Broja lit up Selhurst Park last night thanks to a fine, fizzing strike from range that evaded the gloves of Crystal Palace goalkeeper Jack Butland.
The 20-year-old’s fourth Premier League goal of the season put the Saints ahead before half-time, following a fantastic free-kick from James Ward Prowse.

Broja on target again
Palace had taken the lead after just two minutes via Wilfred Zaha, but Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side regained control of the game thanks to two expert finishes.
Ironically, it was fellow Chelsea loanee Conor Gallagher that lost possession, right before Broja smashed the ball into the far corner.
Usually, Gallagher has been the one claiming the plaudits this campaign.
Yet, on this occasion, all the congratulations were aimed towards the other Cobham academy scholar.
Here’s how Chelsea fans reacted to Broja’s performance on Twitter:
A true Saint
Unfortunately for Southampton, they surrendered the three points just past the hour mark, meaning they haven’t won in the league since early November.
However, this did not detract from Borja’s bright contribution throughout the evening.
He made life really difficult for the Palace defenders, due to his strength and speed.

The Albanian international is already Hasenhuttl’s top scorer this term, despite only starting six times in the top flight.
His goals will be absolutely vital if the south coast club are to avoid being swept away by the tide of relegation.
