One Champions League-winning manager appears to be a name Chelsea could consider in the future if they need a new man for the dugout.
Mauricio Pochettino is still in charge of Chelsea and looks to have eased some of the pressure on him.
The Argentine is taking the Blues to Wembley again after their 4-2 win against Leicester City in the FA Cup quarter-finals over the weekend.
It will be their second trip there this season after playing Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final, which they narrowly lost.
With Chelsea still in the bottom half of the table and Pochettino entering the final year of his contract at the end of the campaign, though, his job does not look entirely safe.
Chelsea have discussed Hansi Flick’s name
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Chelsea are not having meetings about replacing Pochettino now or anything like that.
However, he has told GiveMeSport that the Blues do want a succession plan in place for the long run and former Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick is part of that. On the Blues, he said: “When we hear a lot of these names linked with Chelsea, it doesn’t mean they’re going behind Pochettino’s back and offering somebody a job, which would suggest that they’re done with him. It means that Chelsea are forging relationships, they’re tracking people, and they’re aware of who is out there in the market.

“So if they have to make a change, whether that’s this summer, or whether that’s in years to come, they have the right relationships, they have the right Intel, they have the right data, and the people that they might bring on board are well aware of the Chelsea project as well.
“That’s just smart. Within that context, Hansi Flick is one name that could come under consideration, and has been spoken about internally as part of normal succession planning. There are several others that Chelsea are discussing, but not in the sense of an emergency meeting to find a replacement for Pochettino, more in case they have to make a change and to ensure that there’s no managerial limbo, whilst at the same time hoping it can still work with Pochettino.”
Hansi Flick and Joshua Kimmich will not reunite at Chelsea
While Flick could end up at Stamford Bridge one day, one man with Bayern connections who is unlikely to move to west London is Joshua Kimmich
According to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, the German club are prepared to sell Kimmich this summer, but Chelsea are not an option for the midfielder.
Concentrating on Flick, though, the Champions League-winning manager was recently spotted at Craven Cottage, watching Chelsea’s west London rivals Fulham beat Brighton & Hove Albion 3-0.
