Stan Collymore was seriously impressed last night by Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham, who’s reportedly a transfer target for Chelsea.
Jude Bellingham, who’s just 19, was part of an England side that beat Italy on Thursday night in a European Championship qualifier.
It was a historic night for Gareth Southgate’s England side, securing a rare win in Italy with a 2-1 success. In addition, Harry Kane scored to become the nation’s all-time leading goalscorer ahead of Wayne Rooney.
Bellingham has emerged as an important international player in the last year, and he delivered yet another impressive performance yesterday.
The teenage midfielder is consistently turning in mature performances in Germany for Dortmund. He makes it look effortless in an England shirt, too.

Stan Collymore raved about the individual performance last night from Bellingham.
He wrote on Twitter: “We’ve been crying out for a centre spot to penalty spot midfielder for way too long. With Rice and Phillips as insurance, no reason whatsoever to not let Bellingham loose in a more advanced role. The boy has everything, everything.”
We’ve got to agree that Bellingham was on top form against the Italians.
He’s a Rolls-Royce central midfielder that drives past opponents with such ease due to his physical attributes.
It’s what makes Chelsea speculation linking them to him very exciting…

The Telegraph claimed last month that Chelsea are planning to go all out to try sign Bellingham this summer. However, there will be competition from the likes of Liverpool, Real Madrid and Manchester City.
Dortmund’s model has been centred around selling one of their prized assets every summer window for big cash, with Erling Haaland to Manchester City the marquee sale last summer.
If Bellingham is on the move at the end of the season, whoever buys him will be getting one fantastic player.
It’s very rare to see such maturity in a teenager.
