2024 has certainly got off to a better start than last year did as far as Chelsea are concerned.
A cup final defeat has quickly been followed with another trip confirmed to Wembley, and a chance very much still there at securing a first trophy of the new ownership.
Mauricio Pochettino has overseen results at both ends of the scale in the first three months of the year, although their league position has not really changed.
The Chelsea Chronicle have now gone through and picked out the top three wins for the club in 2024 so far.
Chelsea’s top three wins of 2024
Aston Villa 1-3 Chelsea – Fernandez makes a statement
Things were going as bad as they have been at all this season when they rocked up to Villa Park for an FA Cup replay on February 7.
Back-to-back Premier League losses where they had conceded four goals in each saw them ridiculed in the media, and see reports spread that one of their top players was wanting out.
Enzo Fernandez had been rumoured to be unhappy, however he made quite the statement celebrating his glorious strike that made it 3-0 at the time.
At a ground where hardly anyone had won in recent times, the Blues made light work of their opponents and booked their place in the next round of the competition.

Crystal Palace 1-3 Chelsea – Every little thing is gonna be alright
In a game of two halves, Chelsea went into the break losing in embarrasing fashion at the hands of Crystal Palace, and were forced to wait for an extended half-time to finish up.
Travelling supporters used this time to enjoy the moment, giving a rendition of the Bob Marley classic that played over the speakers.
It soon became the mantra of the club in their current situation, and a Conor Gallagher double turned things round late in the day.
Enzo Fernandez added to their late lead with another, as the away end at Selhurst Park were sent into raptures.

Chelsea 4-2 Leicester City – Que Sera Sera…
After the heartbreak at Wembley in the EFL Cup final, Chelsea fans will have been fearing the worst when cup football came back around.
The opportunity to return there came about in the FA Cup quarter-final against Leicester City, however it soon became evident that it would not be an easy ride.
From 2-0 up to 2-2 in minutes, there was a fear that an already toxic Stamford Bridge crowd was going to completely turn on the players, manager and owners.
Late drama was in store though, with substitutes Carney Chukwuemeka and Noni Madueke coming off the bench to save the day, and set up a semi-final date with Manchester City.
