TalkSPORT pundit Perry Groves thinks only one of Chelsea’s players has been consistent this season.

Chelsea have been extremely poor in the current campaign, losing once again yesterday against Everton.

Perry Groves has now been speaking on talkSPORT about the Blues, who find themselves 12th in the Premier League after their latest loss.

Despite their shocking league form, manager Mauricio Pochettino looks safe for now.

Conor Gallagher Chelsea’s only consistent player

According to Groves, Conor Gallagher is the only Chelsea player to show any kind of consistency this term.

Discussing the 23-year-old on talkSPORT, he said: “You go through the team, I know Conor Gallagher’s been playing well. He’s probably one that you’d give a little bit of a pass to, but on the consistency side, no one else has been consistent in that Chelsea side.”

Has anyone else been consistent for Chelsea?

Cole Palmer has been pretty consistent for Chelsea since arriving at the club from Manchester City during the summer.

Former Wales defender Sam Ricketts thought he was quite dangerous in the Blues’ 2-0 defeat to Everton, while the England international managed to score a very nice goal in his side’s loss to Manchester United the game prior.

In total, Palmer has netted five times and provided two assists in 13 Premier League games for Chelsea. Ultimately, he probably deserves some credit as well.

However, other than Palmer and Gallagher, when thinking about consistency, no other name at Chelsea really rolls off your tongue.

Gallagher is certainly not Chelsea’s best player. He is not even their best midfielder, with the club possessing both Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo. But he is definitely showing more consistency than the South American duo and the rest of his team-mates.

As a whole, though, Pochettino’s side have obviously not been good enough this season.
