Chelsea players, including Edouard Mendy and N’Golo Kante, have returned to the club’s Cobham training centre with 17-year-old Lewis Hall among the group on Thursday.
The Blues have begun the preparation for Saturday’s Premier League home match against Brentford, led by Thomas Tuchel.
A large part of the squad spent the last couple of weeks on international duty, such as Mendy and Christian Pulisic who played key roles in helping Senegal and the United States, respectively, qualify for the 2022 World Cup.
On the other hand, Jorginho returned to London earlier after Italy’s journey in the qualification ended following a shock defeat to North Macedonia.
Reece James, who withdrew from the England squad to recover from a muscular injury, also took part in the training session, which is obviously positive news.
Romelu Lukaku, Trevoh Chalobah, Hakim Ziyech, and Kepa Arrizabalaga, who spent time together watching an NBA game in the US, were also back in the group.
Academy star Hall was also present. The versatile midfielder even scored a brilliant goal past Arrizabalaga in a small-sided game, as shown in the video below (02:38).

Chalobah recently highlighted how Hall is one of the academy players who benefit from Tuchel’s youth policy.
Aside from Hall, fellow academy midfielder Charlie Webster, 18, was also seen in the footage.
