Manchester City winger Jack Grealish has now praised Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling.
He told The Times that the quality he possesses is a sign of the talent England have in the wide areas right now.
One or two eyebrows were certainly raised when it emerged that Sterling had not been selected to be part of the most recent international squad.

This has seen him remain at Stamford Bridge for the break, working on his game ahead of the visit of Arsenal next time out.
Sterling is likely to be a key member of the starting side when the fixture comes around, and therefore staying fit is an imperative at a time where many around him are not.
Cole Palmer, who has been a revelation at Stamford Bridge since his deadline day signing, limped off for the England U21 side last night, and had heavy strapping on his leg.
Grealish praises Sterling
Whilst his manager claimed it was only a dead leg, there are no guarantees he will be fit enough to feature when club football returns.
Despite not being with the squad, Sterling has still received plenty of praise from those who are. Grealish has claimed the former City man is full of quality.

He said: “The quality we have in the attacking areas, especially on the wing, is maybe the best in world football. It’ll be a tough decision for the manager because there’s so much talent in those spaces.
“There’s Saka, Foden, Rashford, myself. Jarrod [Bowen] has been on fire and now he’s here. There’s people who aren’t here like Raheem [Sterling, ignored] and [Eberechi] Eze got injured.”
Grealish is pushing to be involved against Australia tonight, where it is expected that Levi Colwill will make his debut for England on the left of defence.
