Reports have claimed there are two signings Mauricio Pochettino really wanted Chelsea to make during the January transfer window.
According to the Mail Online, the Argentine was keen to add a left-back and striker to his ranks during the month where sides were able to make changes.
Pochettino’s place in the Chelsea hotseat is seemingly up in the air right now, with some chiefs at the club in disagreement over the next steps they should take.
While a lot of the distaste at Stamford Bridge last weekend was aimed in the direction of the manager, the players will certainly need to take an element of the blame for the poor run of form.
The defeat to Wolves saw them drop into the bottom half of the table, and it became clear that there were just not enough quality options available for the manager to change the game when they were losing.
They started the game without a recognised striker again, with Christopher Nkunku looking as if he would be better suited to playing slightly deeper in the attack.

In defence, Ben Chilwell’s match rustiness was exposed in a big way as Pedro Neto had plenty of joy down that side.
In an ideal world for Pochettino, he could well have had two different players playing those positions, with it claimed that these are the two he wanted filling in January.
Some will wonder why he didn’t feature Ian Maatsen more in particular, with him being loaned out to Borussia Dortmund for the rest of the season.
Ever since going there he has impressed in that position, although he was never given a chance there by the Chelsea boss.
As for the striker role, it seemed as if he was happy to allow both Armando Broja and David Datro Fofana leave on loan. The latter scored twice in a 2-2 draw last weekend.
