Enzo Maresca will be hoping that Chelsea’s friendly against Club America tonight will be the one that brings the club their first win under his reign.
The manager has seen his side draw with Wrexham before a damning defeat came at the hands of Celtic over the weekend.
The style of play he is looking to integrate has been clear to see, however has forced a number of Blues to feature in new and unfamiliar positions.
Ben Chilwell even lined up at centre-back earlier this summer as the hunt to find him a place in the side goes on.
In his place so far has been Levi Colwill, who looks as if he could be about to spend another season featuring somewhat on the left of defence.

This is despite him previously claiming that he was far more suited to a central role at the back.
When asked about how the side were playing under the new manager, the England international said he was excited about the approach, despite the individual errors on the pitch so far.
He said to Ben Jacobs: “There have been mistakes [adapting to Enzo Maresca’s style], but that’s what pre-season is for. We are building and with a whole difference approach. It’s exciting.
“I played left-back a lot last season and am willing to play anywhere to help the team. If the gaffer needs me to play in goal I’ll do it!
“I wouldn’t say it’s been a heavy pre-season. None of us are complaining. We want to be in the best form, and confident in the style of play. They have such good staff behind the gaffer and have been working with us individually and as units.”
Colwill’s role may change slightly when the Blues are joined again by Marc Cucurella, who has enjoyed an extended break after Spain were victorious at the European Championships.
Cucurella has been spotted back at Cobham though, and will no doubt be targeting the opening game of the Premier League season for his return to action.
The Chelsea defenders who are on the tour have a few more opportunities to prove themselves to Maresca this summer, and he may look to make a few changes to the side that line up tonight.
Wesley Fofana had a tough outing last time around against Celtic, showing there is still work to do for a player who has missed over a year of action now.
