Graham Potter has claimed in his pre-match press conference that both Ben Chilwell and Raheem Sterling should be in the squad for tomorrow’s game against Southampton.
The pair have been two of the biggest faces of the injury returns that Chelsea have been lucky enough to see in recent weeks.
Chilwell made his first start since a problem before the World Cup in the Champions League during the week against Borussia Dortmund.
His attacking threat was obvious on the big stage, with it highlighting just how far ahead of the other options he is going forwards.
He was forced off however after taking a kick in the second half, with there being a hope that it would not be a long-standing issue.
While his recovery has stepped up as time has gone on, Sterling’s was met with a setback after his first game back.

He returned and looked dangerous in the 0-0 draw with Fulham, however picked up a knock in training after that and has not been seen since.
There is an excitement regarding the England international featuring in this new-look attack at Stamford Bridge.
Joao Felix, Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke have all staked their claims already for regular starting roles at Stamford Bridge, and Sterling will have to take his chance to fend competition off.
His chance may come this weekend, with Potter claiming if all goes well in training today he will be in the squad tomorrow.
He said: “It’s positive. We are going to train later. Providing they come through that okay, good chance they’ll be in squad.”
The Blues will be looking to get back to winning ways against the side currently bottom of the Premier League, who are also without a manager following to departure of Nathan Jones.
