Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Chelsea are massive fans of Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise.
He told the ‘Here We Go’ podcast that they are waiting to hear about how serious his recent injury is before attacking the situation this summer.
It emerged about a week ago that Chelsea were one of the top clubs interested in signing Olise this summer.

They join Manchester City in being interested in the Frenchman, however it has been claimed they are further ahead in the race at this stage.
The Blues have reportedly been looking for at least one more attacking player to add to their ranks this summer.
They have also been linked to the addition of Mohammed Kudus from Ajax. The attacking player has not been training recently as talks of a move to England run rampant.
Chelsea very interested in Olise
However, Romano has claimed that they may make their interest in Olise more genuine as long as they find out that his recent injury is not too serious.
He said: “Chelsea really likes Michael Olise; this is true. There is no bid, and Chelsea know there is a £35 million release clause, but they are waiting to hear about the injury first before they could attack the situation but let’s see.”

The club’s current priority seems as if it is on bringing in a central midfielder to partner Enzo Fernandez for the upcoming season.
Moises Caicedo is the name they have been strongest linked with, and yesterday saw yet another bid immediately rejected by Brighton.
There will now be a decision to be made as to whether they return with a larger offer or to look to other targets before the window comes to a close.
