The pressure is on the owners at Chelsea to deliver a strong transfer window after an underwhelming campaign when it comes to new signings.
The highlight addition of this season has been Pedro Neto, however outside of him the plethora of new players have not delivered to the level that was hoped.
One of these is Jadon Sancho, signed on loan from Manchester United on deadline day. Reports have claimed that the Blues are considering sending Sancho back to Old Trafford at the end of the season.
Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali have notably spent a lot of money on trying to strengthen the Chelsea squad, both for the present and the future.
As well as signings made to make an immediate impact, the likes of Estevao Willian, Kendry Paez and Geovany Quenda will not make their mark at Stamford Bridge until future seasons.

The three Chelsea figures who will approve every transfer this summer
With the owners under pressure to deliver, there will likely be plenty of conversations between the important figures at the club before any signings are made.
According to The Athletic, there are three people who are required to sign off on all big calls at the club, with Boehly and Eghbali being two of them.
The other is Jose E. Feliciano, who is part of the Clearlake side of the ownership.
Notably, the club manager, Enzo Maresca, is not named as one of those figures, which may leave him concerned at how secure his place at Stamford Bridge is, despite signing a long-term deal when he joined.

Chelsea’s summer window plans
Even if the Blues don’t qualify for the Champions League for next season, they are expected to have a busy transfer window to try and plug the gaps that have emerged during this campaign.
A recognised number nine remains a key target for them, after it has become clear that Nicolas Jackson is not at the level required in front of goal for a team with Chelsea’s ambitions.
The Blues are really keen on signing Liam Delap, however will face competition from Manchester United for his signature.
There is also strong interest in signing a winger and a new centre-back, with Chelsea reported favourites to sign Dean Huijsen.
