Mauricio Pochettino has identified Nicolas Jackson’s technique when dribbling at speed as a fantastic part of the Chelsea forward’s game.
Nicolas Jackson, 22, has started both games at the beginning of the Mauricio Pochettino era at Stamford Bridge.
The central striker impressed in pre-season and has caught the eye at the start of the Premier League campaign, so it’s no surprise to hear the Blues head coach has taken a liking to him.

Chelsea boss Pochettino is full of admiration for his first-choice centre-forward.
When discussing Jackson to The Athletic, Pochettino said: “Really good. He’s still young but he has the character and capacity to improve quickly. He’s going to score lots of goals. His work ethic on the pitch, how he presses, his quality when he drives the ball and his technique when he’s running at intensity is really unbelievable. He’s going to be fantastic for us.”

Chelsea fans will have noticed already Jackson looks a complete striker with fantastic skill, strength and work rate.
Speaking to FIVE’s YouTube channel, Danny Murphy has said Jackson is the type of player that would be horrible to play against.
The Senegal international’s movement in the opening league matches against Liverpool and West Ham has massively stood out. He’s going to cause a lot of Premier League defences a problem this year.
Next, he goes in search of his first competitive goal on Friday night against Luton Town.
