Usain Bolt lauds ‘incredible’ Chelsea ace and tips him for greatness at Stamford Bridge

There’s been an abundance of scrutiny aimed at Chelsea’s recruitment staff over the past few years, but it would be fair to say there have been more hits than misses in recent times.

This season, Palmer has carried on his form of being one of the most elite attackers in Europe, in terms of creativity and attacking output.

Palmer, along with Kobbie Mainoo of Manchester United, were present at the GQ’s Men of the Year party, where Usain Bolt showered the two with praise.

“I have the honour talking about these two wonderful young men, great talent – two lads born in Greater Manchester,” Bolt told GQ.

“How many reach the final of a major tournament? What they [have already achieved] in their career is incredible. What they are going to achieve is spectacular.”

Bolt’s praise of Palmer certainly won’t come as a surprise to Chelsea fans, who have witnessed numerous extraordinary performances from the Englishman since arriving at Stamford Bridge in 2023.

What the 22-year-old has already achieved in the game has been nothing short of sensational, with Palmer having won numerous awards for both Chelsea and England.
