Journalist Frazer Fletcher has now claimed that one Premier League star is actually very keen on a potential move to Chelsea.
He told the Simon Phillips Substack that Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi would love a return to the club who sold him just a few years ago.
The Blues have been strongly linked with the signing of a centre-back after it seems as if the position is going to lose a number of their current first team stars.

Trevoh Chalobah is widely expected to leave the club in January, after he is yet to make an appearance under Mauricio Pochettino.
There is also a big chance that this is Thiago Silva’s final season at the club, with him linked with a move back to Brazil.
Fletcher has now claimed that if they do bring in a centre-back, Guehi would be keen to make the move.
Guehi very keen on Chelsea
He said: “Chelsea have sold a lot of home-grown talent already, they have to have a certain amount. Crystal Palace have been really clear that they want to do no business until after the Euros. That’s what their line is.
“Marc Guehi would be very keen to join in the first team and play for Chelsea. SO that’s something that’s definitely got legs. It’s one to watch out for.”
Wesley Fofana has suffered rotten luck with injuries since joining the club, and is yet to feature this season and won’t do for some time.
They have at least been handed a boost that Benoit Badiashile has returned to the starting side in recent weeks,.
This could perhaps give them an opportunity to start to trial a defensive partnership that will feature after Silva leaves the club.
This is likely to be with Levi Colwill, who will feature against his former side at the weekend if he plays.
