Journalist Ben Jacobs has claimed that Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo is going to be really unhappy if he doesn’t move to Chelsea this summer.
He told GiveMeSport that the Seagulls will need to make a decision soon on what they are going to do with the Ecuador international.
The Caicedo saga has now dragged into August, and it still feels as if the deal is not that close to being done.

The Blues have had a number of bids rejected for him so far, and it feels as if it could be a story that runs to the end of the window.
This will have left the player in limbo. He will have been keen to get a pre-season in with the team he would have been wanting to play the upcoming season with.
Caicedo unhappy if doesn’t join Chelsea
Jacobs has claimed that this is very much still Chelsea, and he will be mightily unhappy if a deal is not reached this summer to see him leave the club.
He said: “I think now they’re aware that it’s a cash deal, and Brighton are aware that they’re not going to be able to get Colwill, both parties are waiting to see who flinches first.

“But, obviously, because Caicedo wants the move, Brighton can’t let this linger too long. They’re going to have a very unhappy player if a deal doesn’t get done.”
Any hopes from Brighton’s side that they would be able to get Levi Colwill in exchange for the midfielder were put to bed last night.
It was reported that the Englishman is closing in on signing a new six-year deal to stay at the club for the foreseeable future.
