Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi was a notable absence from the team’s training video on Tuesday ahead of a huge Champions League tie.
The Blues are preparing to host Real Madrid tomorrow in the first leg of a Champions League quarter-final.
Chelsea uploaded live footage this afternoon on YouTube of Thomas Tuchel’s squad on the training pitches, with the manager’s press conference taking place later.
Hudson-Odoi, 21, was an interesting omission from the video.
The £120,000-a-week attacker can’t be spotted training with the group, so surely that puts a massive doubt against his name ahead of the Madrid contest.
He wasn’t part of the Blues squad on the weekend that suffered a crushing 4-1 home defeat against Brentford in the Premier League, too.
Tuchel explained a few days ago Hudson-Odoi would miss the Brentford tie due to injury problems, which appear to still be an issue based off today’s training footage.

Chelsea given warning at perfect time
Let’s hope the weekend’s embarrassment against Brentford was nothing more than a tiny blip.
It’s the kind of result and performance that should reenergise this group of players ahead of a pivotal run of games in April.
The double header taking place against Madrid in the Champions League should bring the best out of the Chelsea players.
Aside from Hudson-Odoi and Ben Chilwell, it looked like a fully fit group in training for the Blues this afternoon. Tuchel should be able to provide more concrete information in his press conference, though.
