Video: What Mykhailo Mudryk was doing in Chelsea training today

New Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk was spotted today in a video by Football Daily training with his teammates for the first time since his big money.

The Blues are days out from their Premier League match against Liverpool, as they begin to look to rescue somewhat of a respectable finish to end the season with.

The January transfer window suggests that is what’s wanted by the club anyway. They have invested heavily into a number of signings this month.

Mudryk joins Joao Felix as additions to strengthen the misfiring attack, while additions such as Benoit Badiashile and David Datro Fofana have also been made with an eye towards the future.

Reports have claimed that they are not yet finished this month too. They have been strongly linked with a move for Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo.

It was their newest addition that grabbed the attention of the cameras at Cobham though.

Mudryk was seen taking part in a warm-up drill with the rest of the team, who all dressed appropriately for the freezing conditions.

It is so far unclear whether he will make his debut at the weekend against Liverpool, with him surely lacking a bit of match fitness due to the interrupted domestic season in Ukraine.

Nevertheless, his direct ability and work-rate is something the Blues have been missing in attack in recent months, with it not addressed as expected by the signing of Raheem Sterling.

The Englishman is currently injured, and reports have already claimed that the club are willing to listen to offers for him to leave despite joining just months ago.

With Christopher Nkunku also set to join what looks like an exciting attack next season, there is potential for optimism to return at Stamford Bridge. Optimism that will be boosted with a win at Anfield on Saturday.
