Jorginho has claimed he would have loved playing alongside Chelsea legend Didier Drogba.
Blues midfielder Jorginho, 30, is part of a current squad at Stamford Bridge that’s been creating its own history.
It’s an excellent group that manager Thomas Tuchel is working with, plus they won the Champions League last season.
However, many Chelsea fans still look back towards the days of Drogba, Frank Lampard, John Terry and Petr Cech as the glory years in the club’s history.
Drogba, who scored 164 goals in 381 Chelsea appearances, was a player that saved his very best for the big occasions in cup finals.
The retired striker had so many memorable moments while playing for the Blues, including the iconic moment of scoring the winning penalty in the 2012 Champions League final.
Incidentally, the 44-year-old has been inducted into the Premier League’s Hall of Fame this month.
Chelsea’s Jorginho has given huge credit to club icon Drogba:
“What a player. What a striker. It would be nice if I could have played with him. It wouldn’t be bad to have his movements as a striker,” Jorginho said.

Chelsea ST role
The striker position at Stamford Bridge has been largely cursed during the past two decades, albeit two absolute class acts are an exception to that.
Drogba, along with Diego Costa, are former Chelsea centre-forwards that achieved so much in West London.
However, there’s a long list of failed strikers.
Unfortunately, current number nine Romelu Lukaku is in serious danger of falling into that category.
TalkSPORT’s Gabby Agbonlahor thinks the Belgian’s valuation has decreased significantly already since he joined last summer from Inter Milan.
Many tipped Lukaku to be the long-term successor to Drogba, something that’s never materialised.
The form of Kai Havertz in attack during recent months suggests Chelsea could be trying out a new style of forward.
