After the surprise Real Madrid statement, we now know how Chelsea feels about the situation.
Enzo Fernandez has been continuously linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer, but despite all the rumours, there appears to be no truth to it.
Madrid’s statement on Fernandez put to bed any speculation.
‘In light of the information and statements that have emerged in recent days regarding an alleged interest from Real Madrid C. F. in the player Enzo Fernández, the club wishes to state that it has not made any efforts, either directly or indirectly, aimed at signing the aforementioned player and, furthermore, has no intention of pursuing such an operation.
‘Real Madrid wishes to express its utmost respect for Enzo Fernández, a great footballer whose career and quality are widely recognised, as well as for Chelsea FC, a club with which it maintains an excellent institutional relationship.‘
Enzo Fernandez needs to leave Chelsea for the good of the club 👋🏻

Chelsea are still unmoved on Enzo Fernandez
It seems as if everyone is on the same page when it comes to Enzo Fernandez, and nothing seems to have changed on the Chelsea front.
According to Bobby Vincent, Chelsea want to keep the midfielder unless an £120 million offer is received.
‘#CFC sources remain relaxed on the situation: club’s position remains – and has been all along – that no club-to-club talks have taken place Enzo Fernandez remains a valued member of the Chelsea squad and only £120 million will prise him away from Stamford Bridge this summer.’
However, as we have seen often with Chelsea, including Marc Cucurella’s exit, things can change quickly.

Javier Pastore is still working his hardest for a Chelsea exit
Enzo Fernandez’s agent gave an update on his situation earlier this week, where he revealed that the player isn’t agitating for an exit due to being at the World Cup.
However, he is exploring a move away from Chelsea amid Real Madrid links.
The deciding factor in all of this could be Xabi Alonso. With a big name like Alonso at Chelsea, as well as the signings that have come in and are being rumoured, there is perhaps an added incentive for Fernandez to stay at Stamford Bridge, as things appear to be turning around.
