Chelsea winger Pedro Neto started for Portugal in their 3-1 win against Poland on Saturday.
Pedro Neto was unable to find the back of the net for Portugal, but his manager would have still been pleased with his performance.
Neto completed all four of his take-ons, for example. He will now be hoping for a start against Liverpool when Chelsea take on the Reds after the international break.
Noni Madueke has been starting on the right flank this season, scoring last time out versus Nottingham Forest.

Chelsea fans on Neto’s Poland display
It is fair to say that a lot of Chelsea fans were impressed with Neto’s performance against Poland on Saturday.
@CFC_Silvaa said: “Neto is really good.”
@CFCMillz posted: “Pedro Neto is cooking.”
And finally, @Cfc_ComrLegend wrote: “Wow Pedro Neto I’m impressed.”
Making just two starts in the Premier League so far this season, Neto has not had too many opportunities under Enzo Maresca. But it is a long campaign.
Pedro Neto could have a big future for Chelsea and Portugal
Neto turned 24 in March. His best years are still ahead of him, and that is obviously good news for Chelsea and Portugal.
The problem is keeping the winger fit, but if Neto can stay injury-free, then he will prove to be an asset for both club and country.
The Portugal international is a dangerous wide man who is capable of carrying the ball. As per FBref, he has ranked in the 96th percentile for progressive carries among his positional peers over the last year.
Neto is not starting games for Chelsea right now, but that is not because he is a bad player. The above shows that the former Wolverhampton Wanderers man is not.
Madueke is in the form of his life at the moment, which is keeping Neto out of the team.
While the former’s best position is out on the right, Tony Cascarino wants to see Madueke up front. It would make room for Neto to start on the right flank, but it is not something you can see happening now, as Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku continue to score goals.
