Chelsea fans could be heard shouting messages of support to Graham Potter as he left Craven Cottage last night.

The former Brighton man saw his side leave with zero points again last night as they fell to a 2-1 defeat in the West London derby against Fulham.

The Blues were on the end of both bad luck and more individual errors, with Joao Felix in particular costing the team in the second half.

He was sent off after making an impressive debut up until that point.

With the scores level at that point, Chelsea were unable to hang on and at least take a point from their neighbours.

Pressure will no doubt be mounting on Potter, although all the reports have claimed that he has the full backing of the ownership regardless of the form.

Chelsea fans support Tuchel

There were claims that there was an added pressure on the match against Fulham, although it is tough to place much blame on the manager from this one.

This was a mantra shared by the fans who were at Craven Cottage, who were spotted seeing Potter on his way out of the game.

They were heard offering messages of encouragement, with one even saying: “Change the squad, they’re the problem.”

While chants for former manager Thomas Tuchel ran round the away end last night, it is well-acknowledged that this doesn’t come from any dislike to the current man in charge.

His already depleted squad will now be without Felix for the next three games, almost sending him back to the drawing board in terms of coming up with a plan to get results.

He won’t have long to come to that conclusion, with Chelsea preparing for another London derby against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
