Enzo Fernandez was one of the players who was back to his best at the weekend as Chelsea returned to winning ways in the West London derby.

The Argentinian picked up the Man of the Match award for his performance in what turned out to be a narrow 1-0 win for the Blues against Fulham.

In a big difference to last season, he has found his goalscoring touch at last. He failed to find the net at all during the prior campaign.

He has a tally of four for the club in all competitions this time round, however assists are seeming to be a lot harder to come by for the World Cup winner.

In fact, he is yet to record an assist during this Premier League campaign, something which will surprise many when taking into account the amount of chances he has created for his teammates.

A statistic by Mozo Football has shown that he is now the only player in the league to have not registered one this season despite having more than two in his expected assist category.

A lot of this can be put down to a lack of quality at times in the final third, with plenty of Chelsea attackers coming in for criticism during this campaign.

Nicolas Jackson and Raheem Sterling have faced their fair share of critics for some of their performances, with the club not quite having the desired quality up top when it has really mattered this season.

This could all change if the Blues manage to get a deal over the line for a top striker this month.

However, any chance of brining in Victor Osimhen this month have hit somewhat of a wall due to the fact that he has recently signed a new contract over in Italy with Napoli.
