Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling started working with a nutritionist earlier in the year after a conversation with the club’s staff.
That is according to a report from The Athletic.
They claim that Raheem Sterling, 28, had a chat with some Blues staff during last season about his own fitness. Apparently, he was struggling to feel 100 per cent in his own game during his first year as a Chelsea player, with did consist of injury problms.
It is understood that Chelsea recommended a nutritionist for Sterling, who’s been working with him ever since.
The report suggests the diet change and attention to detail with food has been key to his renaissance lately.

If off-field help in the kitchen is impacting Sterling’s work on the pitch, Chelsea fans will hope that continues indefinitely.
The 28-year-old winger has looked extremely sharp in the opening three games of the new Premier League season.
We’ve already seen him dazzle in a loss to West Ham. Moreover, he scored twice on Friday in the win over Luton Town and tormented their players.

Owen Hargreaves said Sterling looked “so sharp” after his man of the match performance against Luton, as quoted by the Premier League’s official website.
He definitely appears to have a spring in his step and an extra yard of pace that is proving too hot for opponents to handle.
There’s certainly an opening there for him to emerge as the real talisman in the Chelsea line-up. His history in the Premier League suggests he’s got the individual quality to do just that!
