Chelsea have been linked with a top Premier League winger as they look to capitalise on their recent qualification to the Champions League.
Reports have linked the Blues to signing Jeremy Doku this summer, as they look to repeat the trick of poaching Cole Palmer from their top four rivals.
It has been widely claimed that the Blues are looking for a new left winger this summer, particularly one who is strongest on their right foot.
The future of Jadon Sancho is unclear, while both Noni Madueke and Pedro Neto have played a large amount of their minutes on the opposite flank.

Thierry Henry’s warning to new Chelsea target Jeremy Doku
As the Blues weigh up an offer for the Belgian, Thierry Henry has spoken about his experience coaching him for the Belgium national team, and how he became frustrated with his style of dribbling.
He said: “I had this discussion with Doku for the national team. Very interesting. I’m looking at him and when you do this [stepovers, skills], what do you see? Are you here [looking down] or are you there [looking up]? You don’t need to dribble past someone to deliver a cross, you don’t need to dribble past someone to give an assist.”
Doku has become a regular for the national team now, featuring 31 times for the Red Devils under numerous managers.

Doku’s 24/25 stats
Enzo Maresca has asked for more output from his wingers throughout this season, with Neto stepping up with a number of goal contributions late in the season.
There would be questions over whether Doku could do this at Stamford Bridge. His stats across the 2024/25 campaign do not reflect that he is naturally a goalscoring winger.

Chelsea have a number of names on their shortlist to bring into this position. Jamie Gittens, Alejandro Garnacho and Morgan Rogers remain targets of the club.
Now Aston Villa have missed out on Champions League qualification, Chelsea should be looking to tempt Rogers to West London to link up with his good friend Palmer
