Reports have explained when it is likely Chelsea fans will be able to see Ben Chilwell in first team action again after injury.
According to The Athletic, a return during the Christmas period in two months’ time is the most likely circumstance off-the-back of what looks like another knee injury for the vice-captain.
Chilwell’s luck over the past few years with injuries has been nothing short of rotten, and his issues have come back to haunt him again in the early stages of this campaign.

He limped off in the final seconds of the victory over Brighton in the EFL Cup, leaving the Blues to see things without with only 10 men.
Chilwell out until Christmas
While at first it was not deemed to be too serious a concern, it quickly dawned on Mauricio Pochettino that he could be about to have another key player become a long-term casualty.
The Argentine must be cursing his luck following his start to life at Stamford Bridge, as he has had to oversee so many players miss large portions of games due to injuries.

He is yet to be able to hand Christopher Nkunku his competitive Chelsea debut after he picked up an issue in the final match of pre-season.
Meanwhile, Chilwell’s usual partner in crime, Reece James, only made his second appearance of the season at the weekend against Arsenal off the bench, as his woes seem to not have abandoned him just yet.
Pochettino has already stated that he and his coaching staff have a plan to try and help the club captain enjoy a smooth transition back to regular first team football, and this should perhaps be the fate that meets Chilwell too, with his time off the pitch also stacking up.
