During the summer, Chelsea agreed a deal with Brazilian club Palmeiras to sign Estevao Willian.
Estevao Willian will officially join Chelsea next year when he turns 18 and will be able to play for their first team in the 2025/26 Premier League season.
However, before then, both Chelsea and Palmeiras will be competing in the Club World Cup in its new format.
And thanks to a special transfer window that is set to run from June 1–10, Estevao could be included in Chelsea’s squad for the tournament.

Estevao is such an exciting talent. Chelsea fans would probably love to see the attacker represent them at the Club World Cup and get a glimpse of what he can do.
However, as things stand, it looks like the 17-year-old will play for Palmeiras in the United States and will not join Chelsea until after their participation in the tournament.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Palmeiras expect Estevao to play for them at the Club World Cup, with that being pre-agreed with Chelsea as part of his move to Stamford Bridge.
Estevao’s recent substitution against Botafogo did not go down well with Palmeiras fans, who booed their manager Abel Ferreira for taking him off, showing just how much they value the winger.

If Estevao is included in Chelsea’s squad for the Club World Cup, then he could prove to be a very effective weapon for them at the tournament.
Despite still being a teenager, Estevao has been a really productive attacker for Palmeiras.
For example, in the 29 league games that the Brazil international has played this season, he has scored 12 goals and provided nine assists.
